COVID in Pregnancy Tied to Hypertension, Preeclampsia

Having COVID-19 during pregnancy is linked to a significantly increased risk for gestational hypertension and preeclampsia compared with not having COVID-19 while pregnant, according to findings from a retrospective study presented January 28 at the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) 2021 Annual Pregnancy Meeting.
