      Noninvasive brain imaging may help predict the effectiveness of a specific type of psychotherapy in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD), new research suggests.
      A study of 23 adults with untreated MDD who underwent resting-state functional brain connectivity magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fcMRI) showed that those with two specific connectivity patterns were more likely to respond to behavioral activation treatment for depression (BATD) compared with their counterparts without these patterns

        @ridaz-0 This may allow clinicians to accurately match MDD patients with the best treatment option and dispense with the current trial-and-error system that is both time consuming and costly.
