Hello, I am 19 years old boy. I have recovered from COVID 19 recently. Still I have weakness. I am yet to get back to my previous state. Doctor has diagnosed my anosmia. I am not able to get any smell. I would like to know about anosmia. How is it treated? I want to get back my smell sense. I have tried out various home remedies. Nothing worked for me. I am helpless. Please help.

@athu Anosmia is the partial or full loss of smell. Anosmia can be a temporary or permanent condition. You can partially or completely lose your sense of smell when the mucus membranes in your nose are irritated or obstructed such as when you have a severe cold or a sinus infection, for example. But if the inability to smell isn’t related to a cold or sinus infection, or it doesn’t return after congestion clears, It could be a symptom of another issue. COVID 19 does affect the smell sense. After full recovery from this condition, you may get back your smell sense.
