Hi, I am a 17 years old female. Is it advisable to use salicylic acid on 17-year-old skin? My acne is getting worse, and I need to find a solution. Any suggestions?

@rajdivyani Hello, Salicylic acid is an oil-soluble exfoliating acid. It is a BHA or beta hydroxy acid and works well for oily acne-prone skin. Salicylic acid Sloughs off dead skin, removes excess oil, reduces whiteheads and blackheads, Combats acne and Minimizes pores. It is okay to use salicylic acid every day, it could cause irritation therefore you should first consult your dermatologists before using such products on your skin. Other than using products, a slight change in your lifestyle by eating healthy and exercising regularly will help you.
