Foods to fight bad breath.

Hi, I am embarrassed about my bad breath. I am only 14. I tried different mouthwashes to fight bad breath. I think it’s internal. Can anyone suggest food that fights bad breath? I can't visit a dentist as I am embarrassed about my problem.

@palash Hello, Don't be embarrassed as many people face this problem. There are two reasons for bad breath. Oral hygiene and gastrointestinal health. The culprit in both cases is bacteria. To cure bad breath you should eat a balanced diet full of protein, carbs, lots of fruits and veggies, and plenty of fluids to keep the gastrointestinal tract healthy. But if you want a quick fix for bad breath, try food like cinnamon ( essential oil in cinnamon kills the oral bacteria), Apples, carrots, celery-basically any fiber-rich fruit or vegetable (Eating foods that increase saliva production keeps the mouth moist and rinsed out), Yogurts (yogurt contains vitamin D that helps reduce the amount of bacteria).
